Wow, look at that, five years since I debuted here with a little article on my top 5 airline breakfast meals. I still remember selecting that featured image to show a terrible one, which appealed to my sense of humour. 2016 is a fair while ago, and there’s been a lot of aviation and travel articles written since.

It’s a lot of fun when there is something that sparks my creative juices happening and less fun when I sit at the keyboard hoping for some kind of inspiration. Even so, I can dash off an article in 20 minutes or less when needed. Getting that typewriter when I was seven, a computer at eight or nine and plenty of online chatting from 1994 onwards really helped me learn to type at speed!

A Look At My Top 25 Articles

The bloggers at Travel Update all have a “blogger Mom” named Heather who works at the BoardingArea offices in Colorado Springs. Her advice to us baby writers when we joined was to post at least daily, which I took to heart and is why there are now 1,358 articles by me. To mark this milestone, here are my Top 25 articles from the past five years, from the most read on down.

    Overall Thoughts

So, five years have passed and here’s to the next five! With travel beginning again, I am sure there are a lot more things that I am going to be able to write about (probably including another passel of posts on British Airways Club Europe!). I’m certainly looking forward to writing about my favourite airline things like the scones, the Irish Breakfast, and the Champagne again.

Do you have a favourite article of mine that you have read over the years? What springs to mind? Thank you for reading (and a special thanks to those who have been reading since the beginning – you know who you are!), and if you have any comments or questions, please leave them below.
