The American Express Platinum Card benefit is about to lose this $100 credit at the end of this month. At the moment, American Express hasn’t announced any replacement for the benefit. Trump DHS Walks Back Threat To Stop International Flights At Newark Airport
The Trump Admin seems to have quietly walked back after effectively threatening to halt international flights into Newark airport. This happens when overhead bin space runs out, particularly on full flights, budget carriers, and regional aircraft, or when cabin crew need to rebalance the aircraft’s weight distribution. If your bag is taken at the gate, always get a proper baggage tag and receipt and remove essentials like passports, medication, laptops, and chargers beforehand, keeping them in a smaller under-seat personal item.

The hotel introduces a locally-inspired “Daily Epicurean Moment” featuring artisanal cheeses from Murray’s Cheese paired with regional wines, aiming to give the property a distinct New York identity beyond just its address.
