Last week, I attended EVA Air’s inaugural ceremony and I got to tour the new Hello Kitty plane scheduled for Thursdays and Saturdays.

Checking-In
Your Hello Kitty experience starts the moment you check-in at the counter with Eva Air. Specially designed boarding passes and baggage stickers are handed out.
Royal Laurel Class – Business Class
I flew Eva Air’s business class earlier this year from Taipei to Los Angeles and I was thoroughly impressed. In fact, I would go ahead and say it’s my favorite business class product to fly across the Pacific.
A Hello Kitty pillow and slippers are provided
Premium Economy Class
Premium economy class is designed for passengers who want an extra level of comfort without spending too much money on a business class ticket. I’ve personally never flown in premium economy but from my friends who have in the past, I’ve heard nothing but good reviews from their in-flight experience.
Premium Economy Class passengers get a similar but smaller pillow than business class passengers. Heavy padded slippers and a Hello Kitty theme sickness bag is provided as well.
Economy Class
Passengers are greeted with a Hello Kitty theme headrest cover, a pair of earbuds and a blanket. No slippers are provided in economy class.
Final Thoughts
For Bay Area Hello Kitty fans, this plane is one you won’t want to miss out on. The Hello Kitty Hand-in-Hand jet is scheduled for Thursdays and Saturdays but after December 1, 2019, it will increase their service to Taipei 3 times a week. For an updated schedule, you can visit Eva Air’s dedicated Hello Kitty website for more information.
