Background and Location
I was flying back to New York, and my Porter Airlines flight was departing from Terminal 3 at Toronto Pearson (YYZ). So, I decided to access the Plaza Premium Lounge US Transborder in Terminal 3.
The lounge is located one floor above the transborder departures, next to the entrance to the American Airlines Admirals Club. Hours are from 5:30 am to 7:30 pm daily.

I accessed the lounge with my Priority Pass membership, which provides a 2-hour stay. Additionally, on their website, I saw that one could buy access passes for about 65 CAD for 2 hours.
The Lounge
We were greeted by friendly reception staff, and with our 1 pm Sunday visit, the lounge was busy, but not full.
The lounge features about 2,000 sq. ft. and seats up to 52 guests. So, it’s definitely on the smaller side.

The lounge is quite small with an array of rows of armchairs, some TVs, and high-top tables, as well as some dining tables.
There is a buffet area with some cold salad dishes, as well as a couple of hot items, which include a pasta dish, vegetables, BBQ chicken, samosas, and rice. Chips and salsa were also available, as well as a variety of cookies.

For drinks, you had access to two coffee machines and a soda fountain, or could order some alcoholic beverages from the bar (with some paid options as well).

In the back, you’ll find two single-occupancy restrooms — one for men and one for women, which were clean at least.

The Verdict
Overall, the Plaza Premium Lounge Toronto Pearson US Transborder Terminal 3 is a very no-frills lounge, but not a bad spot to wait before a flight if there is space.
