VDARA CLUB LOUNGE

I was offered to check out Vdara’s newest luxury amenity, the Vdara Club Lounge, which opened earlier this year! It was an immaculate place, filled with plenty of comfortable seating, friendly staff, and complimentary food and drink. Breakfast consisted of a couple hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and your selection of several juices. They additionally have a great refrigerator filled with diet coke – my personal go to, and a whole bar of machines for fancy coffees and teas.

Their menu changes daily, with rotations for breakfast, lunch, hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and desserts. Additionally, the food was good – better than your standard club lounge that you’d expect in a lower tier hotel at an airline lounge. You can expect complimentary alcohol as well during social hour (but only some beers/wine) otherwise alcohol is at a charge.

Entrance

Located on the same floor as the spa & fitness center, directly in front of the main doors. A helpful concierge is there to address your needs and take payment if you’re purchasing a day pass. You’re also welcome to tour the lounge and check it out before deciding.

Food & Drink

Plenty of options here!

Ambiance

Plenty of couples, professionals, and even a bachelorette party repping SQUAD tank tops here. Concierge can assist with booking shows, dinners, transport, etc., so you can utilize their services as well.

Price

Note that you cannot store your luggage here. They will direct you to the bell desk on the lobby floor. Rates for the club lounge are decently high – either a nightly fee of $75 Sunday – Thursday or $100 Friday – Saturday. You can also have the amenity by staying in the hotel’s Luxury Suites, City Corner Club Lounge Suites and Studio Fountain View Club Lounge Suites.

While this nightly fee may seem steep, for a refuge of comfort as well as complimentary food and drink, it may make sense for those travelling as a group, as the fee spread over 3-4 people to a room makes it not a bad investment. The concierge at the lounge also recommended getting it for example the last day of your stay, which would carry over through and after check out (thus getting two days for one). For example, if you’re checking out on a Wednesday, paying for a one night fee on Tuesday ($75) would entitle you to access to the lounge on Tuesday (one day) as well as Wednesday (two days total). That’s not a bad deal!

Conclusion

This lounge’s quality of offering and ambiance is so much better than any lounge I’ve had in Las Vegas at any other property. At others you might get a chair or two or some basic coffee/water, but here is a full range of food and drink options. Of course, it could be improved with free alcohol, but you get a little bit of that. Their service is also excellent, with friendly, happy staff milling about, checking on you and ensuring your enjoyment. I highly recommend checking it out – even if you just take a tour of it – as it’s not a bad deal especially on your last night for two days of access! Come check out the Vdara Club Lounge and let me know your thoughts!
