Wow, the last week has been an amazing week for credit card offers. At the start of the week, I wrote about how many 100k+ credit card offers are widely available. Midway during the week, Amex took it a notch higher with some fantastic welcome offers on the Amex Platinum card. Here’s a quick recap of the stories covered over the last week.
If you’re eligible, then these offers are a fantastic option to jump on currently. In this post, I’ve highlighted how you can check your eligibility and then apply for the 100k or the 125k Membership Rewards points offers on the Amex Platinum card.
I wasn’t quite sure about going for the card since I’d got it earlier. However, I then decided to give it a shot and go for the 100k offer.
In this post, I’ve tried to compile a complete list of all credit card offers that are offering a welcome bonus of at least 100,000 points or more. At the moment, we’re seeing more than 17 such credit card offers where issuers are offering a welcome bonus of 100k of more.
A few weeks back, I wrote about how Chase outrightly denied me for one of their credit cards. After waiting it out, I decided to give it another try. This time around, I wasn’t approved immediately either. This post details how I figured things out with their reconsideration department in order to get my application approved.
In this hobby, we often see data points guide us in a certain direction. Once the economy went south, we saw many readers point out that Chase wasn’t matching credit card welcome bonuses any more. However, a few data points showed that things were slowly moving in the right direction. After Chase approved my recent credit card application, I decided to test it out myself. This post details how I was able to successfully match to a higher welcome bonus by contacting Chase’s customer service.
Chase is currently offering a limited time points transfer bonus to Avios. If you transfer during this limited time promotion, you’ll be able to get 1,300 Avios for every 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points you transfer across. You can make use of this offer if you plan to book travel any time soon.
