United Basic Economy More Expensive?
As you may have read, I booked a United Basic Economy flight from Denver to Los Angeles. Today, I was curious to check the seat map, to see how bad my seat assignment will be. United Basic Economy doesn’t allow you to choose your own seat, and they say that groups will not be able to sit together. The seats available don’t look that great, nor are they necessarily that bad. I shall see how it plays off at check-in.
What I found interesting was that Basic Economy cost $62 more than regular economy on my flight tomorrow.
Why United, Just Why?
This is certainly quite interesting. I’ll have my review on United Basic Economy up soon, but if “regular” economy is cheaper, please book that one instead! You can choose your seat and bring a carry on.
