Things must be returning to normal, with a flash sale at Aer Lingus being wheeled out. Those of us who have followed the Irish carrier for a while will find this very familiar. The sale is celebrating the dropping of the testing requirement for people travelling to the USA, which is as good a reason as any.

It officially covers flights to North America, which means predominantly cities in the United States and one in Canada. Read on to find out how much you can save.

The Flash Sale At Aer Lingus

The sale runs from right now, 14 June and finishes on 17 June 2022. It will cover all transatlantic services, which means Dublin to New York JFK, New York Newark, Chicago, Washington DC, Boston, Orlando, Philadelphia, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle.

People in the west of Ireland are not left out with Shannon to Boston and New York also included. The headline is that you can save up to €200 on flights.

That translates to €100 off economy class tickets (so €50 each way) and €200 off business class tickets (so €100 each way). Travel must take place between July and September 2022.

All eligible fares will earn Avios and Tier Points in the AerClub as usual. You can see the details of the sale and make a booking on the Aer Lingus website.

Overall Thoughts

Aer Lingus always wheel out this kind of flash sale on transatlantic flights. It’s usually always €100 off economy and €200 off business, so it must be rudely successful, since it’s always the same.

One day it would be fun to see them truly offer something astonishing in a flash sale, but for now this is as good as it’s going to get. With skyrocketing airfares, you would be wise to take advantage of this and book now.
