Promotion:
Right now Sprint and American Airlines AAdvantage® are having a promotion where you can earn up to 25,000 AAdvantage® miles by activating a new Sprint account.
So here’s how it works:
So, when you activate a new Sprint account with at least 1 new line, you will earn 20,000 miles right off the bat! All you have to do is register here within 30 days of new-line activation.
Then, you can earn an additional 5,000 miles through ongoing miles. You will get 417 miles per month, which can be earned for up to a total of 5,004 miles after 12 months when the account remains active and in good standing. Existing Sprint customers can also earn ongoing miles as well, just not the new 20,000 miles bonus.
To get started, register here with your AAdvantage® number.
In addition, if three or more lines are activated on the Unlimited Freedom Plan, you can earn yourself an extra $400 Visa® Prepaid Card.
What can I do with my miles!
Well, 25,000 miles is a nice chunk of miles! You can get a free round-trip in the Main Cabin across the Contiguous US or splurge a bit and get a one way in domestic first.
Or, you can snag a MileSAAver Off Peak award to Europe, and get a one-way to Europe in the Main Cabin for just 22,500 miles.
MileSAAver Off Peak awards to Europe can be found from October to May. TIP: Booking a Europe award one way flight from the US to Europe has much less tax and fees than in the opposite direction.
I found availability from Los Angeles to London for just 22,500 miles in November + $5.60 in tax and fees!
Overall, if you want to switch phone carriers or need to open a new line, getting up to 25,000 miles for a new line is pretty awesome! And existing customers can snag up to 5,000 miles as well!
Happy travels!
