Background and Location
Before my flight to Copenhagen on SAS from Stockholm Arlanda Airport, I stopped by the American Express Stockholm Restaurant Lounge, and I had a nice restaurant-style meal. Then, perfectly on my walk towards the gate, I was able to stop by the SAS Lounge for a quick visit.
The SAS Lounge Stockholm Terminal 5 is located in the gate area E, by Gate E1, after security in the Schengen area. After taking the elevator or the stairs, you can enter the lounge by scanning your boarding pass. In late 2025, SAS merged the separate SAS Business Lounge and SAS Gold Lounge at Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) into a single, shared lounge.

Since SAS reintroduced European Business Class starting October 1, 2025, my international premium Economy ticket from New York had our intra-Europe legs in Business Class, so I received lounge access before my intra-Europe legs.
SAS Lounges open about 1 hour before the first scheduled SAS flight and close 30 minutes before the last scheduled SAS flight, with some exceptions based on location and flight schedule.
Access
Lounge access is available complimentary to those flying SAS or SkyTeam, who have a valid same-day boarding pass and meet one of the following criteria:
- You’re traveling in Business or on a domestic flight in Premium
- You’re a EuroBonus Gold or Diamond member or a SkyTeam Elite Plus member
EuroBonus Gold and Diamond members can also bring 1 guest or up to 4 immediate family members (spouse, partner, parents, and children) if they’re traveling on the same SAS or SkyTeam flight as you.
If you’re traveling on SAS in Economy or in Premium outside Europe and access to SAS Lounges isn’t included on your trip, you can purchase it online or at the lounge. Online, it is 40 EUR or 45 EUR at the lounge entrance, and you can visit up to 3 hours before your flight departure.
The Lounge
The SAS Lounge Stockholm offers a lot of seating space, and since it was the merger of two lounges, there are also 2 different buffets and drink areas that serve similar items. At 2 pm, there were some light hot items like vegetables, and plenty of cold cuts.

The lounge also offers work pods and divides up zones like relax zones, work zones, and kid zones.

Numerous bathrooms are available, as well as shower facilities.
The Verdict
Overall, the SAS Lounge Stockholm offers a lot of space to sit back and unwind, and there are two buffet stations for food.
