Review: Pearl Lounge Stockholm Arlanda T2

Background and Access

I was flying out of Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) to head over to Paris for a quick 2 night stopover before flying back to Los Angeles. My flight was on Air France, and they left from Terminal 2 at ARN. I was a bit bummed because I wanted to try the nice AMEX Lounge in Terminal 5. Oh well. I was flying Air France business class, which gets you access to the Pearl Lounge Stockholm at Terminal 2 (the only lounge in Terminal 2). Alternatively, Priority Pass also grants you access to the lounge as well.

Location and Hours

The Pearl Lounge Stockholm in Terminal 2 is located one level up from the terminal, after passing the security checkpoint. The lounge is accessible for passengers departing from Terminal 2, plus passengers arriving in Terminal 2 on a Schengen flight.

The lounge is open from 5:10 am to 11 pm daily.

The Lounge & Seating

As you pass the check-in desk, the lounge opens up into a large space with an array of seating types from sofas, to dining tables and high tops. During my 5 pm visit, there weren’t too many flights left leaving from this terminal, so the lounge wasn’t too crowded, and got emptier as time went on.

Hightop Seating

I liked the high tops because they had power plugs at each table.

Towards the left side, is the buffet section. There are fountain sodas and beers on tap as well.

Drink Options

For hot food items, they had Swedish meatballs, breaded fish, and two vegetarian options. One was a vegetarian pasta and a vegetarian bread schnitzel. For cold items, there are cold cuts and some salad-style options.

In the back, there was some additional seating and even a quiet dark room. There are restrooms in the lounge, though they are a bit small and basic.

The Verdict

Overall, the Pearl Lounge Stockholm T2 was a perfectly fine place to relax before the flight. While it wasn’t the fanciest lounge, it had the essentials and was quite peaceful during my early evening visit. Plus, the terminal itself is quite small and boring.
