Ever wanted your own jet aircraft? When I was a kid, I used to imagine how cool it would be to live in a house that was really an old retired aeroplane.
It appears I am not alone with this dream, as the media is reporting that a Chinese farmer is building his very own A320. And it’s looking pretty great as well!
Chinese Farmer Builds His Own Aircraft
The Daily Mail Online reports that a farmer called Zhu Yue always wanted his own aeroplane. He made some money and decided to build it with the help of some friends.
Apparently it has cost around £90,000 so far which is a bargain compared to the millions an actual aircraft would cost. Once complete, it will either become the man’s home or he will turn it into a restaurant. I know I’d visit!
Amazing Job
Quite frankly I’m amazed at how correct everything looks. When I found the article, I thought for sure it was going to be some half baked backyard job, but it looks really professionally done.
I’m very curious to see how it looks once it is complete. From the photos in the Daily Mail Online article, it looks like they are currently working on the left wing.
Overall Thoughts
What can I say? This was a total surprise when I saw it this morning and so I thought I’d share it with you. I’d visit the structure if I was in the area.
People have turned old aircraft into dwellings in the past, as I have seen several pictures of those. Building the thing from scratch on your own must be a first though.
