If you grew up eating Nutella as a kid, I’m sure you’ll find this to be a mouthwatering prospect. Nutella themed restaurants are not a new concept. You’ll find them all over the world. If you are in the US, you can visit the ones in New York City and Chicago. However, imagine staying at a Nutella themed hotel. What kind of hotel stay would that be? We’ll there’s one that’s coming up in Jnauary. Hotella Nutella is opening in January 2020.

Hotella Nutella

A new Nutella themed pop-up hotel is about to open in Napa Valley in California. The name of the hotel, quite expectedly, is Hotella Nutella. While this seems like an interesting concept, most people would be wondering if this would just be chocolate everywhere. Travel and Leisure reports that this isn’t the case and that there should be plenty of other options.

Of course, there will be plenty of food at Hotella Nutella, so get your appetite ready. Interactive breakfast sessions will be held with the “Nutella Weekend Breakfast Chef Team” throughout the weekend. Food Network star and Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian will be showing guests how to make the perfect breakfast for dinner. Soul food queen and TV personality Tanya Holland will serve up southern-inspired Nutella breakfasts. And DanCakes, a team of pancake artists, will teach visitors how to make creative and “unforgettable” pancakes to prove that breakfast really is the most important meal of the day.

The Pundit’s Mantra

I’m interested to see how this concept pans out in practice. Unfortunately, you only have weekend to experience this pop-up hotel. It’s the weekend of January 10-12. If you’re able to win this contest, you may be one of the few who may get a chance to experience it. If not, here’s one more option. I loved it when I went to Venice in 2016. I still fondly remember checking into the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice and was thrilled to see the Piazzetta Nutella located inside the hotel. They served some delicious Nutella crepes and waffles. In addition to other Italian delicacies, this little pop up restaurant surely added to my culinary delight during my travels around Venice.
