LUFTHANSA TELLS NOV STRIKE PASSENGERS “NO EC261 COMPENSATION”, BUT… – Live and Let’s Fly

This is close to a “wildcat strike” with little more than a week’s notice given to the airline that crew would be striking. But Lufthansa’s lack of action could be the reason they land in hot water. My guess is that they deny all EU261 compensation until they get sued and a decision has to be made by the courts. Paying out all passengers could be in the $30-60 million range.
