This past week the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) happened in Las Vegas. The show sets the tempo for what we (consumers) can look forward to this year. These are 5 CES products that travelers should know about

1. Uber Air Taxi

In the near future (2023), you will be able to call an uber through your smartphone and look up to the sky for your ride instead of down the street. This new innovative way of transportation will help travelers navigate through congested U.S. cities such as Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco.

Google Assistant

Travelers flying United Airlines domestically will soon be able to say, “Hey Google, check in to my flight,” Google announced at CES 2019 they will start implementing a voice-activated check-in feature with Google Assistant. Google plans to incorporate other airlines in the near future.

3.  Nomadplug Travel Adapter

Everyone has their set packing list for an international trip. Chances are a travel adapter is on that list. Nomadplug came out with the first travel adapter that is compatible in all 195 countries. Their sleek design is minimal and even comes with a power bank! I’m always looking for new travel gadgets to make my life easier when traveling abroad. It looks like this is one item I will be ordering soon.

4. Fonebud W: International 4G WiFi Hotspot & Charger

The last thing you want to do on your vacation is to accumulate unwanted roaming charges from your phone carrier. Fonebud W is a global Wi-Fi hotspot that gets you 35 active hours of 4G/3G Wi-Fi data roaming for up to eight devices at a time— thanks to its 10,000 mAh battery, that also doubles as a Wireless charger.

5. Jabra Elite 85h Noise-Cancelling Headphones

I love my Bose Noise-Cancelling Headphones for flying. They’re comfortable and cancels most of the white noise from the airplane. Jabra announced their new generation of noise-canceling headphones. The Elite 85h come equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with an estimated battery life of 32 hours. The Elite 85h features SmartSound technology which automatically analyzes your sound environment and applies your personalized sound settings.
