The Coronavirus outbreak has triggered a drastic shift in consumer behavior. Not too long ago, premium travel credit cards were flighting it out in order to grab your share of wallet. However, we’re now seeing many card issuers fight for market share in a totally different category. Amex started the trend by first revamping many of their cards. Chase and Citi followed suit. Now, Barclays is sending targeted offers to their Personal Aviator Card members. With this limited time offer, you can earn 3x AA miles per dollar you spend on all purchases.
3x AA Miles on all Purchases
Barclays sent this to me via email. Check your email to see if you’ve received a similar or better offer.
Here are the key details of the offer:
- You need to enroll for this offer and activate it
- This offer is valid from May 22nd to June 30th
- You can earn a maximum of 2,500 bonus AA Miles
The Pundit’s Mantra
If you’re looking to earn some bonus miles, you can maximize this offer very easily. The biggest downside of this offer is the fact that the 3x AA Miles per dollar are capped at 2,500 bonus AA miles. However, given that you can pretty much earn the bonus for all purchases, it should be very easy to meet the minimum threshold.
