Who Knew You Could Get Upgraded At the Embassy Suites?

Hello from Atlanta and the Embassy Suites Atlanta Centennial Park. This is a hotel I’ve visited before thanks to its proximity to my Atlanta work site, and let’s face it, you can do worse than free happy hour and free breakfast! 🙂 You can read my prior review here. I know it’s been a while since I did that review, but not that much has changed other than an overhaul of the fitness center….which was much needed.

Yesterday, I checked in for the first time in a while. The front desk crew was polite as always, but the attendant stared at her computer a little longer than usual during the conversation. Then she said the magic words….I have an upgrade for you….to a King Executive Suite. I had no idea there was such a thing at the Embassy Suites! 🙂 While the room doesn’t make you go “WOW” like the WOW suite at a W, it is large…noticeably larger, and complete with a dining table no less. Too bad I’m only here for 2 nights.  I snapped a few pictures.

  1. I had a room at Embassy suites that had a 8 seat conference table in it. It was the biggest room I ever had at an Embassy Suites.

  2. I LOVE Embassy Suites. One of my favorite chains. Nice free happy hour and good breakfast. Nice rooms and most of the time staff is just great! Looks like a nice room.
