If you’re not quite a road warrior, but still book a stays a few times each year with Hilton, then the Hilton surpass card is a much better fit for you. It’s also perfect for every day spending, with the ability to help you earn 6x points on every day purchases like dining, groceries and gas.

The Pundit’s Mantra

Overall, these limited time Hilton credit card offers are fantastic for someone who is looking to earn points for an upcoming stay. The Hilton Aspire card still remains my go to card, given my frequency of stays with Hilton.

Also, Amex often sends out lucrative upgrade offers to upgrade you from one version to another. If you’re unsure about the Hilton Aspire card, you can always go for the Surpass card or the no annual fee card and then upgrade, depending on your frequency of travel.
