UNITED AIRLINES UNVEILS “POLARIS 2.0” WITH FOCUS ON SLEEP AMENITIES – Live and Let’s Fly

I was very happy with United’s seat and bedding flying their Polaris product early this year. I’m certainly open to an upgrade.

But the soft product upgrade needed most is their catering. If they can vastly improve that, they’ll be in real competition with solid international carriers.

Very welcome news indeed. I remember inflicting myself with a self-constructed connecting itinerary at LAX years ago, not realizing the terminals weren’t connected. It was terrible. I missed my flight.

I will argue that the “middle” age is the best, that being approximately 7 to 11 years old. You have few of the challenges that come with traveling with a baby or toddler, and little teenage grumpiness or moodiness. And it’s pretty easy to keep most kids excited about the trip in some way.
