Today, Delta Air Lines released the very first images of the airline’s new Airbus a350.  Delta is expected to take delivery of its first a350 sometime in mid-2017.  Delta’s Airbus a350 will enter service in the fall of 2017.  It will feature all-suite DeltaONE business class, premium economy, and updated economy class.

A First Look at the a350

Delta’s first Airbus a35o is still being built in Toulouse, France however, Delta unveiled the first images of the aircraft.  The airline didn’t show off too much, however, they did unveil the aircraft’s spectacular winglets which feature the Delta logo.  Additionally, the body of the Airbus a350 was pictured, however, it has yet to be painted in Delta’s livery.

Overall

The images that were released today aren’t that exciting.  Other than the beautifully painted Airbus a350 winglets (aka sharklets), an unpainted fuselage isn’t much to get excited over.  These images do, however, show that Delta’s future flagship aircraft is moving along as planned.

What do you think of Delta’s Airbus a350 winglets? Do you plan on flying on Delta’s future flagship aircraft?
