  1. Q3 2022 Chase Spending Offers

Chase has been firing out the spending offers the past couple quarters. I used one earlier this year to earn 5X United miles at the pump, banking quite a few extra miles (thank you, California fuel prices). Now I have a whole suite of offers to choose from. Here are the Chase card spending offers that I (and I assume many others) received this week.

Q3 2022 Chase Spending Offers

Marriott Bonvoy Card Spending Offer

Offer language:

“From July 1 to Sept. 30, you can earn a total of up to 5X points for every $1 spent on up to $1,500 in combined purchases when using your Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card at gas stations, grocery stores, and home improvement stores. This means you will earn an additional 3X on home improvement store purchases and an additional 2X on gas stations and grocery store purchases on top of your base earn.”

United Quest Card Spending Offer

Offer language:

“From July 1 to Sept. 30, you can earn 5 total miles for every dollar spent on up to $1,500 in combined purchases at gas stations, grocery stores and home improvement stores with your United MileagePlus Credit Card.”

Southwest Priority Card Spending Offer

Offer language:

“From July 1 to Sept. 30, you can earn 5 total points for every dollar you spend on up to $1,500 in combined purchases at gas stations, grocery stores, and home improvement stores with your Southwest® Rapid Rewards® Credit Card.”

IHG Rewards Premier Card Spending Offer

Offer language:

“From July 1 to Sept. 30, you can earn 7X total points for every dollar spent on up to $1,500 in combined purchases at gas stations, grocery stores and home improvement stores with your IHG® Rewards Premier Credit Card.”

Are There More Cards Targeted?

Based on the emails I received, this seems targeted far and wide. I’m going to guess that other cards that I don’t have were also included. Everything is also the same: gas stations, grocery stores, and home improvement stores. They all run from July 1 through September 30.

Given how expensive gas is at the moment, I’m glad to have a couple options over the next few months for earning extra miles. I’ll also need to decide whether I stick to my Amex Gold for grocery purchases or decide to earn either 5X United or Southwest miles. I already earned the Companion Pass, so bonus Southwest miles don’t have any added value.
