I have mentioned before that I generally travel solo, which means when airlines have a sale where two people have to travel, I am unable to avail of the deal. Looks like it’s happened again!

This time it’s British Airways offering some eye popping deals on First and Club World flights. These are genuinely good fares out of the United Kingdom.

Can You Avail Of The Sale?

In order to book these tickets, you must be two people travelling. This means those who are couples of who may be a pair of friends are more than welcome to avail of the sale.

Bookings must be made by 19 August 2019 for travel between 19 August and 30 September. Your window of opportunity is relatively short, however the deals make it worth it.

Priced at £2,019 for two people (that’s £1,008 per person, a fare I’d jump on!) for Club World are various destinations. Heading east from London, you have Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Crossing the Atlantic, certain east coast cities are priced like this. That means Philadelphia, New York and Washington DC. Further afield are Las Vegas, New Orleans and Miami.

Heading Further Afield?

How about India? £2,999 for two people to Mumbai and Chennai. Africa? Same price for Lagos and Abuja. Asia tickle your fancy? Just £2,998 for Beijing, Hong Kong and Bangkok. A Caribbean break suit you better? £2,305 for Antigua and £2,332 for Barbados. Canada is not left out either, with Toronto at £2,399.

First Class is also available, with flights such as New York and Miami clocking in at £3,019 for two people return. Now that is an excellent price to sit up the pointy end. According to Head For Points, the BA Holidays web site offers even better deals, with Club World flights to New York plus 3 nights accommodation coming in at £2,398.

Overall Thoughts

These deals are sure to be taken up very quickly, so I’d get moving fast if you wish to avail of any of these. Beg, borrow or steal a travel companion if you have to and take yourself away for a well earned break.

Naturally I’ll be sitting here seething with jealousy! Not really, I’m away myself at the end of the year on a decent enough deal, so I can’t complain. Us single travellers can still find deals for one!
