Cruise Review – Parts OneTwo, and Three

Team MJ on Travel is on a Western Caribbean cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy. I’ll be blogging throughout our week aboard. In the meantime, I thought you might enjoy a few photos from onboard. Not surprisingly, everyones’ friend, Mickey Mouse, is omnipresent aboard Disney Fantasy.

Desserts, like all the food aboard Disney Fantasy are fantastic. But there’s a mouse, Mickey Mouse, in this Strawberry Shortcake Sundae. That dessert was no Mickey Mouse concoction….it was divine.

Disney Fantasy is a great ship, staffed with wonderful people that provide wonderful service and experiences. Here’s a shot of this beautiful vessel tendered in Grand Cayman.

We’ll be blogging throughout the week with a capstone cruise review following the completion of our week aboard Disney Fantasy.

  1. Thanks for the post. Can’t wait to hear more of your reviews on disney cruises as this has been something we have been considering doing in replace of our normal Disney trip.

  2. 3-time vetran Disney cruiser advice:

Make sure you hit up Palo. Remy is great, but a lot more $$ for not much more of an experience.

Check the Navigator for some of the tasting classes (champagne, liquors, etc.) and the behind the scenes tours that are available. They are don’t-miss for DINKs.

Hit the on-board musicals and do so during the early seating. They are not Broadway quality, but are very good most of the time. Get there 20 minutes before it starts.

    Enjoy!

  3. Thanks for the post. Based on your experience, it sounds like you could recommend the Disney Fantasy to those adults traveling without children as well, of course, as to their core family market.

My question would be, based on your experience, what do you think Royal Caribbean could learn from the Disney onboard experience?

  4. Really interested to read your blog on a Disney cruise. I’ve considered booking with the Mouse a few times, but the price has always convinced me to look elsewhere. Interested to learn more!
