3X AAdvantage Bonus Miles Offer from Citi Executive (Likely Targeted)

Citi is back with another Advantage bonus miles offer. This (likely) targeted offer for my Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite™ MasterCard® is for 3X miles for online purchases (excluding American Airlines purchases).

The promotion period is now through March 31, 2016. While I definitely make a lot of online purchases, the benefit of the offer is capped at 2,500 miles. It’s worth signing up for if you are a Citi Executive customer, and are going to be making some online purchases anyway. Though I’m not sure 2,500 bonus miles are enough to sway my purchasing decisions between now and the end of March.

I got same offer but for my Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite™ MasterCard®. Good timing because I expect to close this account 3/31 anyways.

I got one today (Jan. 7, 2016) same thing except it is for restaurants, shows and movie theatres. Interesting they offer different categories for different people.

Must be targeted. I didn’t receive the offer although I did receive the same Citi AA Exec online offer end of 2015. Worth shifting a few online purchases around if going for the $40k spend for EQMs IMO.
