I’d like to see some advice on picking the best hotel chain for different stay patterns. Thanks!

Zayda

Carry-on is becoming a hazard to airline FA and other employees. Maybe there is a need to limited the size and weight like the luggage when check-in. I do not want more fees, please.

Scott

If you know of any mileage-running or mattress-running tricks of the trade, a blog post on those would be great.

Scott

Along the same lines about the car rental programs, additional info on airline bonus mile earning opportunities would be great. Even if I don’t normally try to accrue United miles, for example, it would still be good to hear about bonus mile opps between them and a car rental company if for nothing else than addl miles AND extending my expiration date.

Scott

More info on car rental programs would be good. I may be wrong, but I don’t think that car rental company loyalty is all that important (it seems pretty easy to get a least some “elite” level with most companies) where the main benefit I can see is being able to go straight to you car and not stand in line.

Scott

Additional info on airline alliances and how they can help us use our miles would be great (ie: Alaska/Air France for Delta miles, or AA for BA miles, etc).

Aitchly

More free miles!

I would like to hear ways to use a $50 AMex gift card on a unique travel experience

Brian Davis

I’d like to see more tricks of the trade when it comes to maximizing mileage runs.

I would like to hear more about diving in the South Pacific.

Max M

I’d like to hear your spin on the Spirt Airline’s move to charge for carry-ons, as to whether any of the legacy carriers will possibly match.

Max M

I’d like to hear strategies on using AA miles for Premium Awards [J/F cabins] on QF and CX.

Wobbles

I’d also like to read about the best hotel chains, and where they’re weak and where certain ones are stronger.

Wobbles

I’d like to read on how to find the best airline deals– supposedly they have short little sales at certain points throughout the month/days…

Richard Kaufman

I’m still baffled by all the tips on how to figure out when the best time to buy an airline ticket is. Some say on Tuesdays, some people say a week before you leave, some say 331 days before you leave. Which is true? Which isn’t? Argh!

Jason

Would like to read more about credit card sign up bonuses.

Terry

Please write about how to book award travel on a partner airline. For example, if I have BA miles and want to book a domestic (US) ticket on say AA, is it possible to do this all online? Thanks in advance!

Katie

i would be interested in a comparison of hotel reward programs.

Katie

i would like to know how those of us who do not travel for business can earn points/miles/stays faster and how we can make the most when using those points/miles/stays.

Jonathan

I would like postings on when to buy/share miles with airline promotions and when to pass

Jonathan

I would like to hear some more strategies on finding cheap cruises

astroGG

Also I’d like to read more about Intercontinental/PriorityClub promotions and offers, and fastest way to RA.

deltaPMflyer

i want to know more about how to churn cards better and better for more free miles!

Lisa

@astroGG…thank you for that info and wifi availability would be great

Prashant

The number one topic of interest for me is how to get Coach Class tickets for miles on the various airlines. Most of the bloggers always talk about business – first class tickets for miles. Not everyone has that many miles.

astroGG

@Lisa
Gogoinflight uses many land-based stations along the way you fly, and the plane collects your wifi communications and transmit them with the land-based stations.

Maybe other providers take advantage of the satellite, which is more expensive. But I’m not familiar with them. I only knows Gogoinflight on AA metals.

This reminds me: A summary of wifi availability of all major airlines, and maybe the available routes, will be very useful.

Lisa

I would like to know how wifi is possible on flights

Paul

What are the best partner airlines (based on service and easy award usage) to the main airline companies?

bruce

I think it would be nice if you could post a series of blogs about ways to max out use of award points.

Shannon

I would like to know the best way to use the 100,000 British Airways miles from the credit card promotion.

David

As a DL Gold Medallion member, I would love to hear about comparisons of elite programs among the different airlines/alliances.

Monica

Updates on cool uses of ita and other such “mileage-running” websites.

Scott

I would like to hear more creative and/or useful ways to burn my tons of Skymiles.

@MFJLO
“And, could I find someone that would hire me?”
You really remind me of the guy who use his miles/points to keep himself from homeless and travel around job hunting after losing his job.

But yes, we can think of some “unusual” usage of miles/points/etc., such as using AA miles to book vacation/cruise, or using expedia/travelocity/orbitz coupon to book hotel+flight package. Usually these are not good deal, but who knows, maybe some can be quite decent.

MFJLO

If I travel to North Carolina, can you suggest places to say? places to eat? people like Show Tunes to stay with?

MFJLO

I’d like tips on getting a “new” job while using your points and miles.

For example, if I were to travel to College Park, GA could I find a hotel, rental car, mass transit, and/or a cigar bar? And, could I find someone that would hire me?

Lisa

astroGG

I like both of your ideas…especially the rewards checking account since I also do not have a credit card that provides rewards

astroGG

@Lisa: I think it’s hard to say which one loyalty program is the best. Maybe we can pick several best loyalty programs from MJ.

Also, I’d like to see more about rewards checking account since my credit history is so short and I failed in applying almost every credit card.

Thanks!

Kay

How about putting articles now and then about top 10 (tricks, ways to save, ways to redeem, destination with pics, credit cards, combination of air, hotel and car rental).

Lisa

Info on the best loyalty program

Lisa

My husband and I are first time cruisers and will be going on the Liberty of the Seas in December. Do you recommend the drink passes? Should we pay for our excursions before we board?

astroGG

As I may take Continental as my second choice of flying and I’m a American Plat right now, I’d be very happy to see topics regarding status matching and successful examples here.

Thank you MJ!

Lisa

Upgrade advice for novices would be wonderful

Lisa

I would like to hear more about travel in the western US

Ketan Shah

It would be great to see you explain tips and tricks that educate your readers on how to use miles and points most effectively with step by step instructions and examples.

MFJLO

I’d really like to hear more about good wine places, especially if they involve cigars and pretty waitresses. Oh, and I don’t want to go to OKC.

astroGG

And also I’d like to hear about the topic about Continental program. Thank you!

astroGG

I’d like to hear about how to book cheap international tickets (especially from US to China). Thanks!

Andy

I would like to hear more on the hotel reward programs. This could include concierge lounge pictures from the hotels in the different programs.
