I spent a week in comfort at the Staybridge Suites Fort Worth.
They are part of the IHG group. I do not spend a lot of time at IHG hotels so it was interesting to have this experience.

The suites are just that, they consist of a complete kitchen, lounge area and a separate bedroom and bathroom. It is like staying in a small apartment.
I looked online today for costs later this week and next week and rates are between $100 and $120.
This is not a lot to pay for this type of accommodation. A good breakfast is also included as well as parking. Use of the laundry is also free, they even supply you with washing powder at reception !
Staying in the suite:
The kitchen:
The kitchen consists of a fridge, counter with sink, microwave and all cutlery and dishes.
Very useful to have a toaster and coffee maker too.
All cutlery and crockery is supplied. It is also useful that there is a large grocery store across the road less than 10 minutes walk away.
The lounge:
Outside the kitchen there is a table and shelf, and a desk with lamp, phone and internet hard wire.
The lounge area has a foldout couch with center tables/footrests. There is a chest of drawers with the tv on it. The tv can swivel so you can watch from bed or the couch.
The bathroom:
Dove toiletries are supplied. The sink has hand wash and body lotion attached to the wall as well as tissues and a shower cap.
The shower has body wash, shampoo and conditioner and a single shower head with no separate hand spray.
The bedroom:
The bedroom is basic with pleasant sheets and really nice pillows.
Each lamp stands has plug points available.
The cupboard has ironing board, iron, wash basket and shelves. No shortage of storage places.
One shortcoming is that here is no safe in the room.
Free breakfast:
Rather a nice breakfast with fruit, pastries, tea and coffee, oatmeal, cereal.
Here is the hot food, the eggs, bacon and sausage with nice condiments.
A whole waffle station with yummy toppings as well as a toaster.
This drinks station has different juices as well as sodas.
This is the lounge / breakfast area. There is another lounge available next to this one.
The hotel facilities:
This is the free laundry with washers and dryers.
A small but comprehensive workout room.
A small office with computer and printer for travel documents.
This is an addition I have not noticed before. There are 4 lockable storage units ( I presume on each floor) that you can use while staying at the hotel.
The little store on reception has a few useful items. Always great when they have ice cream and Coke Zero.
This is the main entrance with the breakfast area in the background. Nice and festive in December.
My conclusions:
This was actually a rather good stay. Nice room, nice breakfast, all the extras made for a pleasant experience. This is similar to the Embassy Suites so I will definitely be on the lookout for Staybridge Suites in future.
We also enjoyed our first time at a Staybridge Suites, in Mt Juliet, TN. Since getting the Chase IHG business card, we have mainly stayed at Holiday Inns (Ecuador, New Zealand, Finland) but wanted to try other IHG brands when in the US.
Hi DC, there are some interesting and good value suites available in the US. We use Embassy Suites as well as Staybridge. Both are great. I am glad you enjoy your IHG card.
