I’ve been off the grid over the last week, a combination of work meetings and some personal travel, meant that I was traveling around the UAE and India. After landing in India, I came across this offer as I scrolled my feed. I’m not eligible for this offer, but this is a fantastic offer what I still consider as my favorite travel credit card.

Transfer points to Singapore Airlines or United to fly to Singapore

You can refer to this post for a detailed review of why I consider it as my favorite travel credit card. In a nutshell, the Chase Sapphire Preferred ticks certain key boxes:

  • Low Annual Fee
  • Earns points that can be transferred to airlines and hotels at a 1:1 ratio
  • Easy bonus spend on travel and dining category
  • 0% foreign transaction fees and easy acceptance worldwide with Visa (this is key for me since most of my card spend is international in nature)

The Pundit’s Mantra

Overall, this is fantastic welcome bonus if you’re looking to book a trip soon. Your points can be used with Chase’s transfer partners. Conversely, you can simply use 60,000 points to spend up to $750 with Chase travel, in addition to the $300 in credit with Chase travel. Even if you opt out of transferring Chase points earned from this bonus, you can still derive up to $1,050 in value from this cardmember welcome bonus.
