If you know me you know I’m a huge Eagles fan. Born and raised in South Philadelphia I’ve been waiting for this my whole life — albeit not as long as some old timers! It’s truly an exciting time in Philly.
After the Super Bowl, the Eagles team departed on American flight #9475, an Airbus A330-200, from Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) to Philadelphia (PHL):
Seeing as there was no shot I was going in to work after the parade, I went to Philly airport to welcome the Champs home. As you can imagine the atmosphere was electric. The fans weren’t the only ones with a little extra pep in their step, though. Listen below for the full audio of Philadelphia Air Traffic Control clearing the Super Bowl Champs for landing, and telling a small regional jet in front of them to hurry up.
“American 9475 Heavy, World Champion Tower…”
Simply amazing. E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!

“World Champions” always make me laugh. In a one country sport where no other nations are even allowed to compete!
How do you know they aren’t able to compete in other nations? Perhaps they just don’t want to!
Either way, it’s still not a World Championship! Its hilarious!
