Last week, I wrote about some of the amazing limited time offers running on co-branded Marriott credit cards. You can read that blog post here. Similarly, American Express is also running limited time offers on their co-branded Delta credit cards. If you’re looking to fly Delta or Delta is your primary airline, then these offers can go a long way in helping you earn a lot of bonus miles or achieve elite status.

Limited Time Offers: Earn 110,000 bonus miles!

American Express is offering elevated offers on their consumer and business credit cards with Delta. These limited time offers expire on March 27, 2024.

This bonus should be pretty easy to attain for most people as it only requires a monthly spend of $500. This card changes no annual fee for the first year. From the second year onwards, you’ll pay an annual fee of $150.

15% DISCOUNT

If you carry any of the above cards in your wallet, then you’ll automatically enjoy a 15% discount while booking a flight when you redeem your miles. Bear in mind that the discount only works on flights operated by Delta. The 15% discount will not work on flights operated by Delta’s partner airlines.

THE PUNDIT’S MANTRA

Overall, if you live at an airport that’s a Delta hub or fly Delta frequently, then these limited time offers could be great in order to get your travel plans with Delta kickstarted. If you’re simply looking to to earn miles, then the Gold card might be the best option as it carries no annual fee for the first year. If you make frequent trips, then the Platinum cards might be the right fit.

I’d only recommend the reserve cards if you’re a road warrior, frequently fly Delta, like to use their airport lounges and are looking to earn elite status.
