My father gave me my first wallet when I was very young. And ever since then, I’ve been searching for one that I actually like. I’ve tried bi-folds, tri-folds, and pocket secretaries. I’ve tried thin wallets, fat wallets, and probably every other kind of wallet there is. Still, my search continued. Those of us in the miles and points game probably carry an above average amount of credit cards, and that is a big part of the problem. Even though I am taking a break from new applications for a bit, I still carry a number of credit cards that I like to keep on hand for different kinds of expenses.
That’s why I was intrigued when I found the Tommy Hilfiger Stockton Black Polished Lamb Credit Card Organizer online. With 13 card pockets, a clear ID slot, and room for currency and receipts, this might just be the best wallet I’ve owned. It’s perfect for a traveler and carrier of multiple credit cards. You can see what I mean.
As you can see, there is plenty of room for credit and ATM cards. There is space for cards behind the card slots too. I really love this wallet. I ordered mine online from The Belt Shoppe, a store I’ve used for other items with success.
Note: I received an email from The Belt Shoppe this morning. Apparently they sold out of the Hilfiger card wallets. Should have more in next week. In the meantime, they are offering a 15% discount on other wallets exclusively for MJ on Travel readers good through April 30, 2013. You must enter promo code mjontravel. Before anyone asks, I’m not getting anything out of this. I just wrote about a product I liked. Hope you can benefit from the discount.
@Steve: Thanks for the tip, just ordered off amazon to give this a shot. Free prime shipping and free returns.
It is available on Amazon Prime here: http://goo.gl/Rdb8O
In stock, as I write this.
That is a nice wallet. I have that very same one. I thought the very same thing as you; finally found a wallet with “enough” credit card slots.
Nice! Yours looks perfect for the card-heavy miles traveler. I’m a big fan of the J Crew “Magic Wallet”. Not as many card slots but easy to double them up or slip a few into the “magic” part of the wallet.
I gave up on my leather one about a year ago for a RFID safe one from http://pacsafe.com/ and love it. Highly recommend checking out their various products.
Another vote for BigSkinny! I bought my first one at a motorcycle show 4 years ago. I replace my wallet annually because I like a crisp looking wallet. It will be hard to go to any other wallet.
Dave, I have a big skinny wallet (with a zipper)! They’re lightweight and reasonably priced. I’m still using one and recommended my family to it too (and I don’t get anything out of it either, no affiliation, etc). Good product = good reviews.
I hate having to replace my wallet.
It’s a pain, but I really liked this one.
