As a successful week in Atlanta winds down, I find myself with a little time to kill at the airport. I’m camped out in the B25 Delta Sky Club at Hartsfield, and I can’t think of a better use of free wi-fi than a little judicious blogging, can you? If I’m not mistaken, this is my first visit to the B25 club, and it looks like they’ve done a little remodeling, added new “cool” looking back drops to the service counter areas, and spruced the place up a little. The club is quite busy, with the other club on B Con being closed for remodeling.
My stay at the W Atlanta Midtown this week was spectacular. Or was it “Fantastic” since my Starwood Platinum status resulted in an upgrade to a Fantastic Suite? Either way, the hotel put on a good show this week, and I look forward to staying there again on my next visit to Atlanta sometime shortly after the first of the year. I’ve reviewed this hotel fairly recently, so I won’t write a full review of the property this time. But I think I will for the next visit since that will be about one year since my last review.
Delta was kind enough to clear my Gold Medallion upgrade in advance of today’s flight, and I was even able to snag an aisle seat. It’s amazing what little things give a traveler joy, isn’t it? 🙂 Coming this weekend: thoughts on travel in 2011, and more. Also, there’s still time to enter my holiday giveaway contest. Head to this thread and follow the instructions there. The contest closes tomorrow at noon.
