Din Tai Fung Opens at Westfield Century City in LA

Din Tai Fung Century City

I am a big fan of Din Tai Fung for their cleanliness, consistency and quality of food. So, today I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Westfield Century City location is now open, near Beverly Hills and UCLA which is very convenient for me. Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese restaurant specializing in xiaolongbao (steamed dumplings).

A restaurant representative said they opened just last week! I already ate Shake Shack before passing Din Tai Fung so my friends and I just came to Din Tai Fung for some dessert! We ordered the Red Bean dumplings and they were pretty tasty. I noticed that this location is actually quite large, compared to the South Coast Plaza location that I frequently visit. I haven’t been to the new flagship SoCal location at the Westfield Santa Anita in Arcadia, CA yet.

I’m just super stoked that there’s a Din Tai Fung miles from school!

In SoCal, they have 2 Arcadia locations, Glendale, Del Amo Mall in Torrance, South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and the new Century City location. There’s one in Silicon Valley @ Valley Fair and there are 4 locations in Seattle. Din Tai Fung also has branches across the globe such as Australia, China, Singapore, South Korea and many other countries. The Hong Kong location was awarded One Michelin Star in 2009!

Happy eating,
