Environmental Benefits

The initiative promotes eco-friendly travel, as passengers can opt for train travel to the airport instead of short-haul flights, supporting sustainable mobility goals. This mimics the type of partnership DB has with Lufthansa and other airlines.

A Nice Improvement

This partnership reflects a positive shift toward more convenient, environmentally friendly, and customer-focused travel options, particularly for passengers looking to avoid the stress of short domestic flights. As Condor moves to recalibrate after the EU canceled their partnership with Lufthansa for regional connections, Condor and Deutsche Bahn cooperation will improve Condor’s competitive position within Germany.
