Background:
My friends and I were taking a day trip to San Diego. We decided to hit up the beach at Coronado and walk around the grounds of the Hotel Del Coronado.
The Hotel Del Coronado is in the process of joining the Curio Collection by Hilton, and according to its website, you can use Hilton Honors points starting on August 15th!
Which Celebrity?
As we walked past the ice cream shop, my friend Laurel thought she saw someone from the Walking Dead. She peeked in again, and she thought it was Carl (Chandler Riggs) from the show! Turns out it was, and we got a picture with him (of course, after he got his ice cream, we tried to be fast so his ice cream didn’t melt!)
And, Laurel found some people from the show Supernatural checking in!
I think they were all at the Hotel Del Coronado because Comic Con is in San Diego right now! I heard from another friend staying at the Del that the entire Walking Dead Crew is staying at private house at the hotel.
The last time I saw a famous group at a hotel was when the entire Denver Broncos team stayed at my hotel in Boston! Comepletely unexpected, but certainly a fun treat!
