2021 is here! We’re seeing a ray of hope with a vaccine and hopefully normal times embracing us in this new year. Surely, there’s going to be a significant amount of pent up demand once travel becomes easier, safer and more accessible to people once again. However, Google search trends are already revealing some of the top travel destinations many people are looking to visit in 2021.
Top searched Travel Destinations for 2021
Travel Daily published some research by Club Med which dives into some of the top travel destinations people are looking to visit during 2021, based on search data by Google. I’m not surprised by many of the entries and they’re definitely tempting me to make a booking. Here are the top 10. You can read the full report here. From this list, Thailand and Mexico continue to be some of my favorite destinations, with Maldives next on the horizon for a possible visit soon.

As enticing as the pictures may be, many are still adopting a wait and watch approach. Many travel destinations have their own set of travel restrictions still in place.
