Thanks to multiple devaluations and the obliteration of their award chart, the Delta SkyMiles program hasn’t particularly endeared itself to many frequent travelers, especially to those who love to maximize their miles and points. However, in certain cases, you can still find good value, especially when Delta runs one of their flash sales. Similarly, if you live at a Delta hub, then you could still find some good value from the Delta SkyMiles program.

Delta Co-branded Credit Cards

American Express offers 7 cards as part of their co-branded credit card portfolio. They’re currently offering limited time welcome offers where you can earn up to 90,000 Delta SkyMiles and up to 20,000 MQMs (Medallion Qualification Miles).

What makes these offers even better is the fact that American Express is also offering statement credits with many of these offers (up to $200). If you simply spend using your card in that category, then these credits can go a long way in helping you get great value on the annual fees you’re paying. These offers end soon on 05/05/2021.

The Pundit’s Mantra

If you fly Delta every now and then, then these limited time offers can go a long way in helping you out in terms of planning your travel. Be it simply earning miles or chasing elite status, you can pick the right card based on your spend patterns. Please note that Amex’s one in a lifetime rule may apply to all these card offers. In essence, Amex may not approve you for a card product if you’ve already had it before. However, off late, we’ve seen Amex relax this rule a wee bit by sending out targeted offers.

Which card offer do you plan on getting Tell us in the comments section.
