While I’m firm in my belief that any company that really cares about its Customers should just answer the phone when you call them, American Airlines does offer a feature that makes the “phone tree” slightly less annoying. “Remember Me” has been available from American for a while now, but it was recently enhanced to allow you to add up to three phone numbers which I’ve found to be helpful. Details of how to set up “Remember Me” from your phone are available here. It’s worth the small investment in time, and does take a little of the hassle factor out of speaking to a “robot” before you get to a real person. “Remember Me” technology is available when calling AA Reservations, AAdvantage Award Reservations and AAdvantage Customer Service.
