Last night, I posted that rumors have surfaced of forthcoming changes to Royal Caribbean’s new Dynamic Dining concept. Rumor was that it would look more like Disney’s rotational dining. A YouTube video surfaced this morning recording a Q&A with travel agents aboard Freedom of the Seas with RCL’s Michael Bayley and Vicki Freed. Mr. Bayley, Royal Caribbean’s CEO, referred to the change as more of an option within Dynamic Dining, calling it classic dining. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions but it sounds like those of us who like the new Dynamic Dining will still be able to do that while those that prefer more traditional dining scheme can go with “classic” and have set dining times and the same waiter throughout the cruise, but rotate among the restaurants. Sounds like it will debut with Anthem of the Seas in the spring. Will await something more official from Royal Caribbean before speculating too much, but here’s the video from You Tube.
