InsideFlyer: 7 Frequent Flyer Myths Debunked

InsideFlyer magazine is running a piece this month on frequent flyer myths. The title is “7 Frequent Flyer Myths Debunked.” It’s a good read, and not just because MJ on Travel decided to pipe in with a piece on revenue-based programs. I will tell you that I started the article with this: “Contrarian: a person who opposes or rejects popular opinion.” As I say in the article, I’ve been called a lot worse than a contrarian for my stance on revenue-based loyalty programs. I also acknowledge that the advent of revenue-based frequent flyer programs definitely is bad news for some travelers. But there’s more to the story……
