Southwest Visa – 4 Points Per Dollar on Southwest Purchases (Targeted)

I arrived home today to find a postcard in the mail from the Southwest Visa. From April 15 – July 15, 2015, you can earn an extra 2 points per dollar on up to $5,000 spent directly with Southwest Airlines. This is on top of the 2 points already earned on those purchases.

On first glance, I do not see anything that implies this is a targeted offer, but I can’t make any promises. (One reader reports that it is) If you carry the Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa, it can’t hurt to try and register. Here is an excerpt of the terms and conditions. 1. This website does not work. I entered my info about six times total. I received this solicitation in the mail. Called Chase directly using the number on the back of my card. They enrolled me over the phone. Took 10 minutes total.

  2. Hi MJ, love reading your site and have been SW fan for over ten years (companion pass many years + A-list). Can you help me understand if there are any ms opportunities here? Though I can’t imagine the high value of SW gift cards anyway…

Surely no one would spend that much cash on SW flights with all the cc sign up bonuses around ;).

  3. I tried to enroll in the “SWA 4 points per $1 spent” but the site puts a comma in the last 4 numbers of my credit card and in my zip code. You need to fix that. I get an error message that says “We can’t enroll you with the information you provided”.

  4. Trying to enroll my southwest airline rapid rewards credit card to earn 4 points per each dollar spent.

  5. NO-Go waste of time, tried 2 cards
We can’t enroll you with the information you provided. Please make sure you entered the primary cardmember’s last name exactly as it appears on the credit card.
