My College Dorm Hotel Room

My College Dorm Hotel Room

Back to school! Wow, summer went by really fast, even considering that school starts really late for me. School starts today and I’m not done decorating my dorm! Because of that, this is going to be a short post 🙂

Last year I wrote about College Dorm That Is A Three Star Hotel. I liked my dorm so much, I decided to reserve it again!

My College Dorm Hotel Room:

I got the same type of dorm, Plaza Double with a private bath! Just a different building. It is really nice and spacious. We have two beds, two desks and a decently sized roller closet with 2 dressers inside. The best part is the private bath!

The only negative that I would have to say of the dorm is that the insulation is pretty poor. I can hear a lot of foot noise, and room to room noise as well.

We get housekeeping once weekly, and the housekeepers replenish trash bags and toilet paper and clean the bathrooms. We have to vacuum the rooms ourselves.

Amenities:

We have a 24 hour front desk, a gym, and many lounges to study in. Additionally, we have a rec center with a pool!

The Verdict:

My dorm really is like a 3 star hotel, quite possibly a low-end Courtyard! We are going to host the Athletes Village when the Olympics come here in 2028! In case you were wondering, you can’t actually book a hotel stay at my dorm. UCLA does have the brand new 4 star Luskin Hotel and Conference Center to stay at though!

Happy travels,

Haha. That’s great to hear. I wish I would’ve learned about travel hacking earlier in my college career–might have led to some amazing summer trips.

All the best to you, and keep putting out good content!
