This is hard to swallow. MileagePlus has seen modest devaluations over the past few years, but this is brutal across the board. They used to be a solid option for several areas outside the U.S.

A very cool development for an airport relatively close to home. By relatively, I mean 3.5 hours away, but it’s a decent option at times.

Scandinavian Airlines confirms its move to SkyTeam – Economy Class & Beyond

It will be cool to have another SkyTeam option in Europe. I’m sad to see them leave Star Alliance, but intrigued how they might be booked using miles from their new alliance. Expecting Flying Blue to be a solid option. We shall see.
