Breeze Airways Suspends 26 Routes – The Bulkhead Seat

Not looking good for the new carrier. Axing the transcontinental flights (sadly) makes sense, given the aircraft and crew commitment. Still want to fly them this year.

Breeze is finding out why a lot of unserved markets are unserved. Like the mad dash for dormant routes in the first phase of US deregulation.

Sad, but true. I hope they figure things out to stay solvent. Hasn’t been a worry, but expanding too fast into poor markets is a bad strategy.
