My Favorite 4 Star Hotel Brands

Favorite 4 Star Hotel Brands

I felt like blogging about this for awhile, because there are just so many hotel brands, and each of them are unique in their own ways! Plus, I better blog before school starts getting harder!

Most of my hotel stays are at the four star level, and I’ve completed numerous stays at Marriott, Westin, Hilton, Hyatt and more.

My 4 Favorite 4 Star Hotel Brands:

1) Hilton

Believe me, I was shocked that Hilton is the best 4 star brand for me too. None were like astronomically good, but they were all very solid. Hilton grabs the top spot in my list because of its consistency (for the properties I’ve stayed at).

The properties I’ve stayed at that are memorable to me are the Hilton Hawaiian Village (Rainbow Tower), Hilton London Metropole and the Hilton Madrid Airport.

2) Westin

Honestly, based on pictures online Westin wins hands down. Most Westin’s are just so aesthetically pleasing. But, more often than not, I’ve been disappointed after check-in for various reasons from cleanliness or maintenance issues.

My best Westin was the Westin Princeville in Hawaii and I also stayed at the Westin Maui and the Westin Chicago River North.

3) Renaissance

I like to think of Renaissance’s to be mini W’s that just don’t like to party but still want to be hip and cool. I like their rooms, and I definitely dig the vibe.

My favorite Renaissance is the one in New York Times Square. I also had a decent stay at the Renaissance Washington D.C. Downtown and the Imperial Riding School Vienna Renaissance.

4) Marriott

I really liked my stay at the Prague Marriott, which was amazing! But, I’ve run into a few iffy ones, like the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott and Boston Marriott Quincy.
