In London on my way to Greece. My initial flight landed about 4am so I wandered around a little and then had a good time enjoying the Aspire lounge at Heathrow airport.
This was in Terminal 3, I salute them as it was only 5am and they were ready for us. There were about 8-10 of us waiting as they opened.
I am not sure what lounge is pictured on the above website but it is not the Aspire lounge.
This lounge is in Terminal 3 down at the end after passing a lot of shops. The instructions on the Priority Pass app say ‘follow signs to gates 1-22 and Airline lounges B-J. Then left towards Gate 9 and Aspire is Lounge D on the right.’
This is a smallish lounge, quite a lot of space is taken up by the kitchen, bar and offices/storage in the center.
This was the first sign I saw before I had reached the seating area. Deli jars with breakfast items, yummy.
Here is a view of the seating area and the bar. There are tables in a long thin line straight up behind the lady in red, and there are tables to my left and that is it.
There are quite a few seats available, some of them with power.

The yummy food:
Here are those deli jars. You can choose from apple pie overnight oats, yoghurt and almond granola with fruits or honey, creamy greek yoghurt and fruit salad.
The flavors were great. The dark red berry juice in the glass was powerful and tasty.
Of course, in my opinion the best part of breakfast at Heathrow is the ability to have a good English breakfast with fried tomato and beans and potatoes. That is something I miss as I travel in the US a lot.
Here in the hot food section are thick bacon, pork sausage, baked beans, scrambled eggs and rosti potatoes. A great sight.
Here is the pancake station. Watch your fresh pancake cook and then top with chocolate sauce, syrup, fruit of the forest, lemon or icing sugar. Yum!
The coffee and tea station. Lovely Twinings tea in about 10 different varieties and the coffee machine for my favorite cappuccino.
Reserved seating:
There were some reserved booths in the corner with signs for champagne and Prosecco on them. I never found out who they were reserved for.
This is the bar on the inside corner. It was not manned consistently as it was so early but I did see one or two drinks being handed out.
There is a screen with departing flights on. Didn’t really look at it as my flight was a few hours out. Gates will be shown about 45 minutes to an hour prior to the flight.
Here is another view down the long end and and the bar on the corner.
The lounge does offer toilet and baby changing facilities.
And that is my visit to the Aspire lounge. It was a great place to hang out for a few hours. It never got too crowded, it had a great English breakfast and with the pancakes and yoghurt and drinks it had everything I wanted. This was actually my first time at Heathrow with lounge status as the past few times flying into England had been through Stansted and Birmingham.
There are 2 lounges in terminal 3, I will review the No 1 lounge next week.
