WHICH CARD SHOULD YOU GET?

So which card should you get? Firstly, consider which card you may be eligible for due to Chase’s restrictions. For instance, if you’re over 5/24, Chase won’t approve you for any of the cards. Secondly, consider the main reason for getting a co-branded United card. If you’re looking primarily for lounge access, then the United Club Infinite Card is the card that you should get. If you’re looking to earn miles on everyday purchases then you should go for the United Explorer Card or the United Business Card.

THE PUNDIT’S MANTRA

If you hold any of the United co-branded credit cards, you automatically get expanded access to award seat availability while booking an award flight on United.com. Moreover, if you hold any co-banded United consumer card and the United Business card, you’ll also earn a ‘better together’ bonus of 5,000 miles each year.
