The Blue Business Plus credit card by American Express continues to be one of my favorite credit cards. It’s a fantastic card that I’ve carried in my wallet for many years. Now, Amex the Blue Business Plus Credit Card is currently offering a different type of sign-up bonus. You can earn up to $300 in statement credits with this bonus when you purchase at select merchants.

Amex Blue Business Plus Credit Card

I was able to pull up this offer by using the incognito/private browsing mode. Please refer to this post which outlines how you can use the incognito mode to get different and often better offers for American Express cards.

Usually, American Express offers 10,000 Membership Rewards points as the standard sign-up bonus for this card. You’ll often find these links publicly available or via refer-a-friend links. Before we look at this offer, please note that this card is a business credit card. Also, Amex’s other restrictions like the once-in-a-lifetime rule also may apply.

Sign-up Bonus

Blue Business Plus

$300 in statement credits!

With this bonus, you’ll earn a total of $300 in statement credits after you make your purchases in the first 3 months. You’ll earn a maximum of $100 in credit per merchant at each of the three merchants mentioned below:

  • DocuSign
  • Fedex
  • Dell

If you’re looking to maximize the Dell Credit, then refer to this post where I’ve highlighted how you can maximize your purchases at Dell.com. I’m assuming that the Dell credit should work similarly to the one Amex is currently offering on the Business Platinum card.

You’ll also get a limited time 0% APR on all purchases for the first 12 months after you sign up for the card. You can read my review of the card here.

The Pundit’s Mantra

Since I already have the card, this offer is of little value to me. However, if your business is already spending with the merchants mentioned above, then this bonus could provide you with some handy credits on purchases you’re already making.

I place a great deal of value on my Membership Rewards points. Therefore, I usually tend to opt for sign-up bonuses that offer Membership Rewards points instead of statement credits.

However, your situation may be different. Do you find this sign-up bonus lucrative for your business? Tell us in the comments section.
