Airplane Inspiration: Japan Airlines 787

In order to keep everyone’s spirits up while most of us are stuck at home, I decided to start a new photography campaign. Airplane Inspiration will be a series of photographs published that showcase an airline/aircraft/airplanes from my photo bank. Today’s airline inspiration is the Japan Airlines 787. 

 

Location: Tokyo Haneda HND

The central Tokyo Airport is a hub for most Japanese Airlines. Japan Airlines, as well as ANA, have a large presence at the airport. Haneda has been growing in popularity, with most flights to prime destinations now departing from the airport. 

 

Airline Snapshot

Japan Airlines is the flag carrier of Japan. It is the country’s second-largest airline, behind ANA. They are a member of OneWorld and have strong partnership ties with American Airlines through their Joint Venture. With an international fleet of 787s and 777s, the airline flies to points in the US, Australia, and Europe. JAL also has some A350s, which fly mostly domestic routes within Japan.
