Aer Lingus list European flights for July and it’s short enough!

Like the creaking of a door in a horror movie, European travel is gradually slurbing into life. It is a complex matter though, so Ireland’s Aer Lingus decided to list the flights they are operating in July.

This is quite handy for passengers, as it provides definitive travel options. It’s also an interesting look into what some of the more popular routes at an airline actually are.

Complexities That Make Aer Lingus List European Flights

Have you searched for flights lately? You would be forgiven for thinking that all airlines are operating a generally normal schedule. This is because tickets are generally on sale for the future, even if flights have not restarted.

This makes booking things a little bit like Russian roulette. You might book a flight, that looks like it is operating, only to find it cancelled somewhere down the track. Not a pleasant experience for anyone, hence why Aer Lingus must list European flights now.

Aer Lingus are advising their loyal customers by e-mail of where they are flying. Not surprisingly, almost all the trips originate in Dublin with a single service out of Cork, which is to London.

The Dublin flights are to Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London in the UK. Also, Malaga, Alicante, Lanzarote and Palma Majorca in Spain plus one each in Netherlands, France, Portugal and Italy, being Amsterdam, Paris, Faro and Rome. That’s the entire European network for July.

Overall Thoughts

Well, it’s a start, isn’t it? European travel is beginning once more, and the airlines must be wringing their hands a bit, as rainy weather in Ireland like today usually causes people to flock online to book sun holidays.

Either way, the list is sure to get longer as time passes, barring any unforeseen events. What do you think of the Aer Lingus destinations for July? Surprised, or what you’d expect? Have you booked to go away? Thank you for reading and if you have any comments or questions, please leave them below.
