Flying business class on long haul flights can cost quite a lot of money. That means things like flat bed seats are out of reach for most people. That being said, there are certain Aer Lingus flights where you can get these for just €90.
The Irish airline has an excellent long haul business class product, which I have reviewed before. You can find it on both their widebody Airbus A330s and their new Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Flat Bed Seats For €90!
Aer Lingus operate daily flights between Dublin and Lanzarote and this summer they are using the Airbus A321neo on the route. That means the business class seats are available for anyone to select.
Overall Thoughts
Since Ireland has only just reopened for non-essential travel, treating yourself to these seats would be well deserved. Of course, you need to be going to Lanzarote, but maybe having this available would sway a decision.
Aer Lingus have regularly sent their long-haul aircraft to the Canary Islands during the high demand summer periods. That means this is not new, but I’m sure everyone could do with the reminder!
Are you planning to go on a sun holiday this summer? Do you think €90 for the flat bed seats is a good price? Thank you for reading and if you have any comments or questions, please leave them below.

Couldn’t find a flight for that price.
Of course not – as the article states quite clearly, the seats cost €90. Or did you miss the large screenshot showing the seating prices?
Unless I’m missing something, is is 90EUR **more** on top of the coach ticket, not 90EUR. You still have to pay for the coach ticket, which means you can’t “FLY IN AER LINGUS BUSINESS CLASS FLAT BED SEATS FOR ONLY €90”
You’re quite passionate about this, aren’t you? 🙂 Obviously it’s on top of the ticket price, but the title is still correct. You can pay the €90 or not. It’s excellent value no matter which way you slice it. Thanks for the comment!
I’m only passionate about stopping clickbait where the title completely misrepresents the article. The title does not imply it is on top of the ticket price, and your line “Business class usually prices anywhere from €1,500 return and up on Aer Lingus. Getting that for €180 instead…” also conflates a full-priced ticket with an upgrade.
Imagine if an article headline was “Stay in a One-Bedroom Suite at the Four Seasons Toronto for only 150EUR!” and then the article said “The upgrade cost from the 375 EUR room is only 150 EUR…”. Completely different from the headline, and I’d assume most people would click away from that.
You make completely valid points with regards to your point of view, so you are completely correct in saying the above. I am also completely correct with my article title, because it says “Fly in Aer Lingus business class seats flat bed seats for only €90” – which is what you get by paying the €90. Perhaps I could have removed the word “only” actually, and that would have saved the pain. I could have titled it, “Fly in Aer Lingus business class flat bed seats for €90 on top of the airline ticket to Lanzarote”, but we’re advised as bloggers to keep titles short and snappy, so it is what it is. If we didn’t have one second to grab someone’s attention thanks to the way the electronic world is presented, we could probably write far more descriptive titles. Either way, you make very pertinent points and it’s good that you call it out. Nobody likes clickbait!
I was also mislead by the title, but I think the article content is solid and makes up for that. Thanks for the info.
Glad you found it useful, thanks very much!
